   except the chancel. Musicians usually sit on the side in front

         Welcome by the minister
         Consent and Presentations 
parents may stand
    CONTEMPLATION
         Prayer if desired in a religious ceremony
         Reading if desired readers may stand

    COMMITMENT
         Exchanging of Vows often from scrolls
         Exchanging rings
and any special rite
    CELEBRATION
         Pronouncement and embrace
         Benediction or Farewell Wish

              ALL STANDING concluding with “AMEN.”

 * We have found having the witnesses sign the marriage license and certificate before the ceremony makes it easier for the couple to receive greetings, take photos, etc, after the wedding.
     Be sure to take your documents from the altar-table when you leave the Chapel or enlist someone to do this for you.
